There are only four pieces of advice that you need as a young adult:

1) Don't do hard drugs. Hard drugs being anything you have to cook, cut, stretch, or inject.

2) Don't have kids with random people. You may end up with a real asshole as a co-parent. Plus you're broke
3) Don't go to prison. Don't get arrested. Pay your parking tickets. Don't get any type of a criminal record.

4) Don't go into debt for college. Unless you're planning on doing something with projected growth and an average annual salary of AT LEAST 2.5x a semesters tuition.
Most advice is too general. It's also difficult to be highly specific, as minds and intentions change.

So instead, just avoid these four things and you'll always be in a position to do whatever you want.
