Today is 10 years since the first ever @Musicalize event

These times all they wanted was a simple booking form sent over with a financial offer. We soon learnt

..believing that one day someone would take us seriously enough and reply.
I still remember how we booked our 1st headliner. We DMâd @THEREALGHETTS on Twitter. He replied with his number. We were both in the car debating which one of us should call him to do the deal (Soph did)

One of the other things we laugh about is the amount of times I tried to book @ArianaGrande. As you can see I was quite persistent but figured I should stop asking in 2014 when I tried to book her for our website launch party (she was in London) and got a 2 word reply
So much has changed in the 10 years that weâve been doing this. Weâve seen our fair share of artists come and go. Weâve watched artists go from playing to less than 100 people to selling out theatres, arenas and stadiums all over the world...
...and most recently a global pandemic shut down our entire industry at a time that we wouldâve been doing some of the biggest events of our career. I donât know what the next 10yrs looks like for us but what I do know is that our love for live music / events has never changed.
Probably the only positive of the last year or so is that itâs really challenged us to think about how badly we want to work in this space and so behind the scenes weâve been working away quietly on a few projects that we are super excited to share when the time is right.
We wouldâve loved to be throwing an epic 10th anniversary party this week so weâre definitely going to have to make up for that. In fact, once Boris gives us the green light you guys are going to be sick of hearing about how @Musicalize turned 10 this year. Watch this space
