I just wanted to take this time to say, remember that period from around post survivor series 2019 to the pandemic where RAW was a legitimately good show again under Paul Heyman? Let's take a look at that time period...

THREAD:
One of the most obvious places to start would be Drew McIntyre,..who after SS 2019 slowly began to transition babyface, naturally got over by getting continuous clean wins and won the rumble. He was a made man after eliminating Brock and a top babyface was cemented. #WWERaw
One of the other obvious strong points of the show at this point was the revitalization of Randy Orton who was booked and presented coherently and logically from his attack on Edge, to then decimating Matt and Beth, and the promos cut in between. It was a great feud.
Another strong point about the show at this time was the increased number of clean finishes that helped the cause of the youth movement. Many of the talents that would go on to be released were used to put over talents like Andrade, Ricochet, Murphy, Drew,Garza, Cedric, and Black
At this time the show was coherent and logical on a weekly basis and Rollins' slow burn into the messiah was well handled. He blamed everyone else for the survivor series loss, doubled down that he was the one saving Raw and it led to extreme delusion and a character shift.
On the point of Rollins, Samoa Joe's transition from commentary was also well done and with he/KO, we had some strong babyfaces on the show that weren't dumb. Viking Raiders being inserted to the feud served to feature a new act in that spot and they main evented multiple shows.
The spread of wealth didnt end there. Because Black and Murphy, two previously cold acts on the main roster slowly got over by continuously winning on raw until they had their great series of matches, and while Murphy lost 3 times, the was a destination which was the Seth stable.
This run was also where Asuka was re established and set up to eventually become a champion again. She even got to main event TLC with Kairi against Becky/Charlotte. That along with the debut of Shayna and her domination at the chamber were all pluses for the show at the time.
The show also had better wrestling at the time because time was given to have featured quality matches along with short squashes. The quartet of Rey Mysterio, Carillo, Gaza and Andrade brought flavor to the show and elevated the United States title through mostly great wrestling
The promo segments at this time also dramatically improved. The serious ones were scripted better with realistic dialogue, sometimes blurring the lines of kayfabe like AJ and the OC on Undertaker. (OC was the last time I really enjoyed AJ btw) and the comedic ones were better
The show wasn't perfect, but there was an attempt made to give everyone something to do, and if something didn't work it was used to service something that did. Ex: the Rowan cage thing was a flop but rather than take him off tv after giving him momentum, he put over Aleister 2×
So yeah, that all i had to say. This was the last time I enjoyed RAW. Thoughts? @SeanRossSapp @_denisesalcedo @WrestleFeatures @davemeltzerWON @davidlagreca1 @x_Beast17_x @V1_OSW
