Lost my aunt to Covid-19. I tweeted a few minutes before for my sister. She is still critical and in a private hospital which has only put her on a ventilator. Called our doctor friends and they say she should get treatment. I have called 5 time on the UP’s Covid Command helpline

They say they’ll get back to us. We registered an emergency request. I caller them again and begged for one bed. At leat the daughter survives. They say they’ll get back to us. This is what is happening in UP. I have called on all private and govt hospitals.

Either they don’t pick up or beds aren’t available. My parents have asked me not to tweet anything as they’re scared the CM might arrest people like us for spreading rumours. The shortage of oxygen, beds and medical resources is no rumour. #Lucknow #IndiaNeedsOxygen
