When YOU are the one holding power in a conflict, it costs you NOTHING but your comfort to own your fuck up and exit the situation gracefully.
Diversity, equity, and justice work is almost entirely these 3 things:
(1) listening to understand what's happening
(2) acknowledging your role in the harm/pain/problems
(3) acting in earnest to fix it
And I'll admit -- it's simple, but not easy.
