I have not deeply unpacked this, but I sort of just assume that the 'mental illness industry' is fundamentally inverted and is harming more than it is helping

Because, in my exp, the mentally ill seem to be primarily suffering from an issue regarding self-image and how they..
literally perceive themselves, because all the thinking we do is attached to our ego/what we identify as

So if you think you are ill, your thinking will often become sickly and will align with your (false) self-identification

Why would we, then, add more painful labels to..
their already-chaotic-minds and already-insecure-perspectives of themselves/reality

I am not sure what the solution would be, as we sort of have to use labels to be able to exist in a world of labels

But the labels were always wrong

Bc no subjective label is ever 'true'.

🤔🤔
Like, what?

"Oh. Him? Yeah. He's a schizophrenic. + generalized anxiety disorder. He's just so mentally ill"

Bro, that 'schizo' was dropped on his head as a baby, had an alcoholic father, and ate processed food most his life

HE isn't schizo

His body BECAME schizo

HE is pure.
We could try to avoid teaching these 'mentally ill' to continue victimizing themselves with their false self-perception, by providing them with labels that act as methods of healing

Mentally ill? No

You're simply 'spiritually confused'

New labels, new diet, no pills, new life.
Maybe this tweet is a reach, with an entirely new way of perceiving this kind of thing..

But it felt worth sharing.
