I wanted to share some good (cat) news. Bear w/me to the end pls.

Igor was a friendly cat I fed frequently at one of my cat colonies. He was big and always sweet, but older. We knew it would be hard to find him a home. One day, Jordan, a college student, applied for a cat.

We have a policy. You must be 21 to adopt a cat from us. We were going to deny Jordan, but after talking to her, I knew she was a good person. I convinced our director to meet with her before denying her. Jordan impressed him. She agreed to volunteer w/us and foster, not adopt.

Our director suggested I give her a cat we could not otherwise adopt. I had just taken Igor in for a vet visit and hated putting the lover boy back out. Jordan came to my house to meet him. It was love at first sight. Jordan took Igor home, renamed him Peter, and updates me.

Jordan told me Peter goes everywhere with her. He walks well on a harness. He is a social butterfly. Jordan graduated from Clemson, and Peter was right there with her, jersey and all.

This is Jordan and Peter, the cat formerly known as Igor. I am so incredibly proud of them.

Today, we officially approved the adoption of Igor. Jordan is his forever mom. These two are bound to do great things together.
