With only 5 games left of the season, The term on the beach gets Thrown up a lot

In this thread, I give the meaning of the word and some teams that are on the beach

Many teams who have nothing to play for this season with no relegation threat or chance of European qualification these teams try to experiment in these next 5 games to focus for Next season
These teams are called by the popular name in the community as ' on the beach '

In this thread I will cover which teams are the ' on the beach teams ' but there are always exceptions to these terms as there are some players fighting for spots at Euros and some for Transfers in the upcoming window

These teams are teams that can be targetted by us for the later part of the season for players playing against them

1.. Crystal palace
Crystal palace are 13th in the table 11 points ahead of the relegation zone with a game in hand and 15 points behind the European spots

Remaining fixtures MCI SHU AVL ARS LIV SOU
Area to Target: Defense Since GW20 Palace have been bottom 5 for xGC in the whole league and defense to Target

Exception: Zaha as he is playing for a transfer always linked with a move away in the summer and with him turning 29

this year it might be his last shot at it.

2.Wolves
Wolves are sitting comfortably 12th in the table with no threat of relegation and minimal chances of European spots

Area to Target: Defense Even tho wolves defense looks to have

improved of late it was put to the sword By Burnley And Patricio has been statistically one of the worst keepers this season in the PL

Exceptions: I don't think any of the Wolves team are any exceptions to the rule and they are the team to avoid getting players from and target

if you have a player against them

3..Aston Villa
Villa after losing their talisman Grealish has been in very bad form of late and there is no certain return date for him and Villa are comfortably midtable right now

Both Defense and attack Since Grealish got injured Villas Stats have taken a drop with them being ranked 11th for xG and 14th for xGc they have been saved many times by Emi who is an exceptional shot-stopper

Exceptions: Watkins is fighting for a place in the England squad and

Martinez is another who if I had wouldn't be in a rush to get out

4.Southampton
Southampton have dropped off a cliff in terms of performance since Christmas and are ranked last for form after Christmas
And I definitely think they are the team to target with that form

Area to Target Since January Gw 20 Southampton are the second-worst defense according to xGC stat and only ahead of SHU and are certainly a team to target captaincy against

Exceptions:Ings, when fit, should be the only exception

to this but he is currently out injured
