*Exclusively* dating someone is a precursor to marriage. If you’re unable to demonstrate honesty, faithfulness, etc. to your partner, it would be insane for them to make a lifetime commitment to you.

That’s just signing up for a world of hurt later on.

I put “exclusively” in asterisks because there is a stark difference between “exclusive dating” and “casual dating.”

Make your intentions clear to the other person so that there’s no confusion. That ambiguity and talking around stuff is synonymous with lying.
