1. I was a Trumpster through & through. Even now. I gave DT knocks when he goofed. I defended him when Jack deleted his Twitter account.

I was one of Trump’s strong advocates, cheerleading with my tiny little voice. I saw through Biden. I knew he wasn’t going to be his own man.
2. I saw Obama 2.0 coming through. I shouted, but I was called names. Most Nigerians hated Trump because he was arrogant.

Arrogance is one thing Twitter NG hate. Ask Burna Boy. They labeled Trump anti- #BlackLivesMatter . They called him the racist. It doesn’t matter now, does it?
3. Most Nigerians hated Trump for his Policies on Immigration. Their inability to secure U.S Visa in part, then the APC wing hated him for bruising the EGO of their master, Buhari.

They never forgave Trump for calling Buhari “lifeless.” Hindsight, DT’s been vindicated on that.
4. YES!! Trump was elected a demagogue, he left a demagogue. He has no apologies for that.

I was rational in my criticisms of Trump, I never threw away the baby with the bath water. I knew “the frenemy of my enemy, is my friend.”
5. Trump was the only route to a sort of emancipation Nigerians had. Especially the Christian South & Christian minorities in the North.

That U.S report on the “SILENT SLAUGHTER: GENOCIDE IN NIGERIA” posted by David Hundeyin some days ago,
6. is one of the reasons the Nigerian authorities has been lobbying the U.S since Buhari came along.

The Federal Government of Nigeria with its predominantly ethnic Hausa/Fulani envoy at the U.S & UN, will make sure the United States does not act on that report.
7. Why do you think Amina Mohammed is at the UN? I have always said that “ #EndSARS is a marathon not a sprint.”

Trump would have acted on #EndSARS if he had won. He was embattled himself. Let’s just say the peaceful protests happened at the wrong time.
8. But at the very least, Trump would have targeted specific individuals for sanctioning, at the Nigerian end, if he had won.

Remember Nigeria is down the pecking order of U.S priority? In fact, Nigeria is at the bottom, since the discovery of U.S Shale.
9. That said, I believe by now most anti-Trump hardliners in Nigeria, including the proverbial “Southern intellectuals,” must have realized they were played.

The “Curse Of 2015,” has repeated itself. Their outbursts against DT was purely academic, based on emotions, not facts.
10. Not on empirical reasoning & rational thoughts. The Democratic Subcommittee on Foreign Affairs for Africa, won’t give a hoot about the dire straits Nigeria is in.

Biden’s Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, already hinted “Buhari is trying his best.”
11. He got off a video conference with Buhari yesterday, & nothing concrete came out of it. So what does that tell you?

The time for lobbyists & activists masquerading as “think tanks” at the Capitol, IS BACK. Biden is only re-enacting Obama’s Foreign Policies.
12. Did you honestly believe the Biden would be a departure from Obama’s maladies?

A man who worked with Obama, while Obama destroyed Libya & set the Africa Sahel on fire, foisted Buhari on Nigerians through his Secretary Of State, “John Kerry”, is not going to help Nigerians.
13. Go to the U.S Consulate in Lagos, Hausa/Fulani lobbyists frequent the Embassy on a weekly.

Remember it was under Obama that Nigeria was predicted to become a FAILED STATE? These were my fears & sentiments, when I was defending Trump.
14. Trump wasn’t perfect, but he always called out Buhari. He wasn’t a saint, but he knew when to be decisive. His used his Secretary Of State, “Mike Pompeo” well.

Mike targeted Buhari FG effectively, where the Buhari Regime goofed. DT was the respite Nigerians would have had.
FYI: this thread is about ACCOUNTABILITY. DT’s ability to hold the Buhari Regime to account for the wanton killing of Christians.

So STOP making this about ISWAP & the Boko Haram. Wars are expensive, US is not going to fight the war for Nigeria. Nigeria is off its pecking order.
