I've seen the same apply to thought leadership content.

We often overlook or write off our own perspectives, opinions, and ideas—especially those that go against the grain—because they’re second nature to us.

We assume they won’t be revolutionary to anyone else.
Unfortunately, this happening on a massive scale has led to an era of copycat content.

Google’s top 20+ results for any given keyword look the same because folks hope that by falling in line, they’ll stand out.

That’s just not the way it works.
