Which is why we have decided to leave you with a few tips and tricks that can help you sleep. If they don’t work, maybe the act of reading this guide will. We’ve gone to great lengths to ensure that it’s reaalllllllllllyyyyyyyyyy boring. (2/8)
Tip 1 - You know the phone? Yes, the device that’s practically an extension of our arms. We need to place it far away from us at night. The blue light from our phones disrupts our sleep, so it needs to be out of reach. Don’t look at us like that, we don’t make the rules. (3/8)
Tip 2 - Develop a relaxing sleep routine: no, watching the new Marvel show is not it. We need something ‘relaxing’. Which means: reading a book. Drinking a hot cup of herbal tea. Listening to soothing music. A warm bath. Meditation. (4/8)
Tip 3 - Stay away from caffeine late in the p.m. Which means no aerated drinks, no masala chai, and no soy milk caramel macchiato with whipped cream. Pani pee lete hain. Pani is best. (5/8)
Tip 4 - Swipe right on exercise. Go on a first date with yoga. Commit to dance fitness. Get engaged to boxing… do you need more relationship allegory or have we made our point? (6/8)
Tip 5 - Go to bed and wake up at the same time everyday. It keeps our circadian rhythm working and regulates our internal sleep-wake cycle. (7/8)
And now to end this thread, here’s our signature cat gif. Is there anything more peaceful in the world than watching cats sleep? We don’t think so. But we’re always open to suggestions. In the meantime, sleep well, friends. (8/8)
