Drummer Sophie and vocalist/guitarist Jake have been creating music together for the past year. Before the lockdown Sophie was getting ready to play her first gig however, #COVID19 caused the venues to close. [2/6]

So they had an idea to start performing on the streets but why? [3/6]

Glitchers have already performed on streets in places such as #Norwich and #Nottingham and are expected to visit #Birmingham this Friday.

According to the band members the public has had mixed responses as they said: "Some people love it, others hate it." [4/6]

As #activists Glitchers challenge capitalism through how their band is funded. They take donations allowing the fans to decide how much they wish to pay.

Their merchandise is also 100% #recycled and they donate to charities. [5/6]

With such a success on the streets of the #UK the band is actually looking forward to performing outside of the venues once they open.
