I've been off sugar (+added sugar) and eating mostly whole food for 3 weeks now. The changes have been incredible. The last stubborn fat deposits I've been working to remove have almost completely disappeared in 3 weeks.
There have been so many good changes that I now HATE sugar.
It was HARD to break that cycle the first week. Several days of headaches and cravings. The cravings continued into week 2. Had to replace it hard with whole food fats and lots of water.

Past those initial ten or so days, huge changes. Cravings nearly stopped except for stress.
Whole family is off sugars now and we keep homemade fat bombs at the ready to replace the occasional sugar cravings at stressful times. Adults are dumping stubborn fat deposits at SHOCKING speed. Kids are balancing out their moods and doing better at studies.
When I treated clients with serious addictions, I'd tell them the only way to break free was to find something they believed in SO MUCH that they saw the drug as a threat and came to HATE the drugs. That was the turning point.

I've reached that point with sugar.
In just 3 weeks I've reached the point of hating it. Cravings go toward fat bombs and fatty foods, always whole foods that fuel the body.

If food is medicine, I've decided to stop overdosing.
