[s] there are worse things out there than ff1970 and heatwaves.

[s] seeing this from both sides of the writers and readers, i see why people wanted ff1970 and heatwaves to be taken down. the streamers' boundaries, the shipping of real life people, etc.
[s] but there. my headmates have read terrible shit.

[s] now, we all get that ao3 has the tagging system to search things more efficiently. right?
[s] you know... "additional tags" in the "edit your search" !
[s] so. there are easier ways to find.. raunchy fics.

[s] from our memory, one of our nihachu introject alters tried to look up regular fanfiction and fell upon "problematic mcyt/dream smp oneshots" and read it! out of curiousity.
[s] it was all smut, by the way.
[s] with non-consensual and underage as the tags.
[s] now. wtf.

[s] oh and it's still up by the way! no one even took a glance at it!
[s] i'm not saying that taking down something that a writer spent their days/weeks/months working on without being notified of the streamers' boundaries is bad but if that shit still exists-- we're fucked.

[s] well, why do we take things down if we ignore the worst of it?
[s] i get that the authors took them down themselves but that's partly because some people pressured them to do so. just.
[s] don't hate on the authors who took down;

[s] hard work when there's worst shit out there.
