PM: "No" - calls on Labour to provide evidence of claim.

"They were very bitter, very difficult decisions for any PM."

He points out that ministers who are found to have misled Parliament are expected to offer their resignation under ministerial code.
Now onto No 11 flat refurb. PM: "I paid for the Downing Street refurbishment personally."

Starmer presses him on who paid *initially* - and he doesn't answer.

"I've given him the answer. I have covered the cost."

"I've answered the question," says PM. Except he hasn't. That's the point.
Keir Starmer: "The Prime Minister hasn’t answered the question, he knows he hasn’t answered the question, he never answers the question."

Labour leader asks PM if he thinks he has broken any rules. "No, I don't," fumes PM. Rarely seen Boris Johnson so angry.
