I finished my placement at @UkNatArchives yesterday
and while I'm feeling sad about it ending, I'm so so so grateful to have had such an incredible opportunity! I learnt so much and was able to share some incredible stories along the way.

Every day I immersed myself in research, learning more about iconic historical figures; their struggles & their achievements.
Incredible people like Anne Lister, Fanny & Stella, Constance Markievicz & Radclyffe Hall. And I was able to share these stories with you guys!

And not being able to access the archives in-person (damn you COVID) I found so many documents that surprised and excited me!

And I'm excited about the future of @UkNatArchives.
The National Archives are changing. They're taking huge steps in becoming a more inclusive, diverse and accessible institution, inside and out. And they're constantly thinking of new ways to share stories and engage audiences.

I would 100% recommend working w @UkNatArchives! They want to uncover hidden histories & they want to *help you* with your research.
I'm so thankful for the opportunity to work w the amazing @vicky_ig & to research & share such incredible stories. I'm gonna be lost next week...

Does this mean I need to do some actual PhD work now?
