A Thread on Kane Williamson’s IPL performance season by season.

2015 - Sunrisers Hyderabad bought Kane Williamson for US$460,500 in the auction. He played just 2 games and managed to aggregate mere 31 runs with the best of 26*.

2016 - Kane managed to play only handful of games, this year. He scored just 124 runs in 6 innings at an average of 20.67 and had a S/R of 101.63. He scored one fifty.

2017 - Another season of handful games but this time he grabbed this opportunity. He aggregated 256 runs in 7 innings at an average of 42.67 with the S/R of 151.47. Meanwhile, he scored 2 fifties with the best of 89.

2018 - THE PEAK YEAR OF KANE WILLIAMSON. He got the leadership of SRH in the absence of Warner. He lead his side from the front and scored 735 runs at an average of 52.50 with a S/R of 142.44. He scored 8 fifties with the best of 84. He won the Orange Cap with SRH reaching finals

2019 - An injury hit season for Kane Williamson as he managed to score mere 156 runs in 9 innings at an average of 22.28 with the S/R of 120. He got one fifty in this season.

2020 - With tournament being played in UAE. Kane batted mostly at 4 and aggregated 317 runs in 12 innings at an average of 45.28 with a S/R of 133.75. His crucial contribution in the crunch situation was the key for SRH finishing at 3rd in IPL 2020.
