I mean, if he’s genuinely on the spectrum, then good on him… but if it’s just an excuse for his behaviour, he’s either just set all of us who are on the spectrum back YEARS *or* he’s gotten a whole lot of conservative boomers to start suddenly caring about mental health...

However, my feeling is that all of what’s happened will come out eventually. And as someone else has pointed out, the amount of comments, & the amount of pages being run, are the work of more than one person.

Finally, what scares me, as the article in the first tweet in this thread states, is that his diagnosis could be stigmatizing to those of us who are on the spectrum. Aside from his abhorrent and disgusting behaviour, that’s one of the most concerning aspects of this all.
