A couple things:

Idk who put some stans in charge of all black JB stans but no-one speaks for me. We are not a monolith.

From what I can see JB is wearing plaits and that's fine and even if he is wearing dreads, he is doing so bc he appreciates the style and culture.

Justin has previously, specifically and publicly, said he is inspired by many things in black culture. Very few white artists do that. Yet I see no rants about or *tina running about in black face and cornrows for the whole of the 90's or malone.

Justin is doing a lot of wonderful work, that actually matters, with organizations who actually help black people in need. While some aspects of accepted wokism are helpful and move things forward, ASSUMING that someone isn't appreciative when they are - is wrong.

It's disturbing that the same black JB stans who are bullying/harassing Hailey (I don't stan her but she nothing to do with JB's current hairstyle) are also retweeting posts by SG stans & and have seemingly forgotten that fraud INCITED and CONDONED racists who abused Sofia.

This clearly indicates the rants of some of y'all have more to do with your latent or overt antagonism towards JB's wife, than any real gripe.

For the record, I think Justin has a lot of love for our culture and has matured over years and isn't doing anything wrong.

While I know that we wear out hair in natural styles, we can encounter prejudice and racism in its many forms, the people to address with that are the people and institutions ACTUALLY doing that, not people who aren't doing that but are - in fact - appreciating our culture.

And, to repeat, the fact that some of stans in this fandom are using this to attack Hailey and/or rt'ing bs from SG stans when SG appropriated the bindi & literally helped racists abuse Sofia - very much reveals the hypocrisy & wrongness of y'alls contrived raging.
