We keep complaining about government and bad policies but as individuals, we largely contribute to the dysfunction in our society.
I am at the UUTH for my husband's monthly cardio consultation. We got here as early as 6am because we didn't want to spend the whole day as usual.

We were the first to get here and naturally, we were exited that we didn't have to spend so much time only to realise that the consultation list already had 19 people on it.
We had no choice but to append his name to number 20.

While we werr waiting, we noticed that a staff

Came in to write a name on the list. On closer inspection, i noticed that he had put someone's name as number 1 thereby creating two people with the serial number 1.

I told them that it wasn't going to happen under my watch. I brought out my biro and cancelled the name.

As i am sewing this thread , it is 8:53am and the few nurses around instead of checking vital signs decided to be doing song and Prayers in a fucking teaching hospital not minding that some people there might be atheists, agnostic or of other creeds.
