Childcare challenge made today an impromptu “bring your daughter to work day.”

Thread of Elly’s day visiting the State Assembly (and some of the people we ran into along the way!) —

“After I got to ride in the elevator and spend some time playing in mommy’s office, we ran into my new friend @AsmAguiarCurry!

“And then @AsmBlancaRubio and @AsmGarcia showed me some of the fun things they had in their offices!

“Then we went to mommy’s hearing in the Public Safety Committee — and I got to show Asm. @BauerKahan some of my favorite toys!

“And mommy even let me join her up on the dais (for a little while)!

“Eventually I got a little tired, so mommy walked me around in my stroller — she even got to vote during our little walk.

“It was a long day at mommy’s work — they were still voting at 8PM! So mommy put me in my PJs and I went to bed for the rest of the night. Work can be tiring!”

Elly had herself a full day!
