Social media is only a small fraction of people's lives. It's probably only at least less than 1% of a person's real life. Social media is also the window into the carefully crafted image of what people want us to see.

Because social media gives us the illusion that we are seeing into the private lives of a celebrity some think we have an intimate connection with that person. But if we only see 1% of a person's life its impossible to make accurate judgments as to who a person is.

Social media is not an accurate measure of who a person is and should not be seen as an important tool to make such assumptions about a person.

Since 99% of our lives and moments in our relationships are not put on public display it actually says nothing about the type of relationship two people have. Not every show of support needs to public. 99% of everything we do is done in private. #DemetÖzdemir #OguzhanKoç
