I finished watching Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train
Aight let's get this out of the way
It's really good
I don't wanna hear the "its overrated" bs
that being said I do have criticism
I'm gonna judge this as an entire arc cuz Ig it adapted a whole arc

Ufotable really fucking goated
im not even gonna lie
the 2d animation and effects animation was like eyegasm
It's a must watch if you love great animation
the plot was great it was engaging and interesting
It also had my issues with the movie
which were plot conveniences

there were times I wondered "hmm that's awfully convenient"
but hey its nothing too much to break your head on but lokey bothered me
one thing I loved is Rengoku
booooiiiiiiii was the goat
loved it whenever he was on screen and man.....

ok idk if these are nitpicking but
I didn't like enmu
he felt kinda flat and wasn't that interesting tbh
Akaza however was intriguing but they had to give him the least screen time

the emotional moments were really fucking good
shit would've made me really emotional if certain "fans" didn't spoil it like when the trailer dropped

the first half of the movie is pretty CGI heavy
there are times it shines and times it looks pretty distracting
they used smears with the CGI which is really impressive
expected from ufotable
it's good from a distance but some close-ups are a bit distracting

overall I think it was an amazing movie
even with my complaints
I'd give it an 8.3-8.5/10
