shakes okay so obvious ones are min-gi feeling like he has to be the responsible one (like how pb has to be responsible and rule her kingdom) while ryan is the more rushing/impulsive one who has bigger reactions to rejection (like marcy)

also their instruments are similar ! ryan and marcy play (bass) guitars while pb and min play synth-related instruments

ok more emotional/growth parts: marcy and ryan both had trouble with being impulsive and not thinking things through sometimes, or wanting to avoid responsibilities to have fun (i might remake this thread w pics and specific examples later)

meanwhile, pb and min both feel pressure to take on responsibilities and act “grown up,” sometimes squashing down feelings and things they care about in order to fulfill those responsibilities

throughout both series, each of the characters learn from their partners, therefore growing and getting closer to each other !!

the astro queue car and varmints are really strong parallels imo, as well as rymin’s talk in the maze and bubbline’s talk in both varmints and the cave in obsidian

okay i’m actually really tired idk how coherent this is but i might add to/remake it tomorrow, if anyone else has thoughts i wld love to hear them !
