in the jujutsu world, it seems you don& #39;t want to be a special grade.
yuki seems powerful but doesn& #39;t listen to higherups, gojo is seen as a nuisance, yuta was up for execution, and yaga was almost designated as a special grade for his potential to make an army (1/5)
and geto was probably given this designation after figuring out uzumaki post-spv mission. the higherups might have feared his potential to extract basically any cursed technique, giving him unlimited cursed techniques at his disposal (2/5) https://twitter.com/chuuyasoup/status/1364218159083970561">https://twitter.com/chuuyasou...
it& #39;s almost like special grade isn& #39;t a positive rank at all; it& #39;s a way for higherups to single out and label problematic individuals that threaten the status quo. "imposing an indefinite restraint." it& #39;s almost like a leash, if the sorcerer wanted to be part of society. (3/5)
yuki wanted to work w/fellow special grades, knowing the responsibility (curse) of their power and the uneasy relationship they maintain w/the higherups. special grades are a lonely existence and they strive for connections b/c they have very few who can understand them. (4/5)
it makes me think abt the additional pressures on gojo and geto as teens; while gojo may be used to it due to being six eyes, if geto was treated w/similar distrust by higherups while struggling w/his disrupted worldview, no wonder he couldn& #39;t see a way out except to BE out (5/5)
it makes me wonder if special grade curse users are on an automatic death sentence to be carried out by gojo. if you& #39;re not part of jujutsu society, if you& #39;re not willing to be controlled by higherups, then you die, as simple as that.
(how many executions had gojo carried out?)
