HCP r doing an incredible job but they r humans n mk mistakes
1. Wrong meds were kept on bedside after the consultants visit. I am a very aware pt .I read abt those med on internet n spoke to the physician under whose care I was admitted. He said he hd never pres those meds.

An error in typing resulted in someone elses meds being billed to me. If I wasn't aware , I wonder why cd hv happened.
2.Every pt who is admitted hs to get a blood testing done. My veins r hard to locate. So when the young nurse cdnt find one in the first attempt

, I requested her to call someone senior or a phlebotomist. She shouted at me saying I was uncooperative n held my hand forcefully to draw blood again. The needle she inserted hurt so much that I ended up crying ( I am very resilient) .My arm was left with blue patches
A sr citizen was on O2 support for 12 days n that morn was stable n taken off the O2 support. At 10 am in the ICU the doctor told the elderly man that he will be moved to a gen ward cuz he was stable n ICU bed was needed.
A major commotion ensued- pt was traumatized , in tears n was back on O2 support.
3.I hd an allergic reaction fr which the doc on duty instructed the nurse to give me an avil stat. Then he told the nurse - She is not an ICU pt, I am not responsible fr her"I was left stunned.

These r few incidents that I exp. What I am trying to highlight is that - its both the HCP n the Pt who are suffering . The Government hs no idea abt the magnitude of human sufferings there incompetence hs caused. Hw can they claim that things r under control ??
Things r out of control. Why can't the government just accept this. India is going thru a nightmare. The end to which is still a far fetched reality. When the world is seeing the magnitude of the humanitarian crisis why can't the Indian Government #COVIDSecondWave #CovidIndia
I wonder hw much longer till we realise that our health care is crumbling because even their steam will run out due to over exhaution n hw much pt will suffer cuz the govt didn't see the writing on the wall !
