Once more for all the media down the back.

For the mediarazzi happily ignoring the core issues many voters have with Scott Morrison's exploitative and convenient Christianity - so they can fill column spaces and justify their media existence.
1 - Nobody is mocking Christianity.

Hard for you to grasp I know.

What 'Marita & Kevin' from the suburbs do with their time and Christian beliefs is not being mocked.

We're happy for them all to do as they wish.

Because. Marita + Kevin. Don't. Hold. Positions. Of. Power.
Saying that 1 politician plays golf like a lunatic and dresses up like a fool every time he plays a bad game of golf and has his bad golf game plastered over the media endlessly is not the same as saying . . .

all golfers are bad & lunatics.

No equivalence.

None. Nada. Zilch.
2 - Nobody is denying anybody their right to religion. Or lacking respect toward it.

Your rights finish where your fist meets my face.

Again, we're happy for a PM to follow a religion in their private life.

We're not happy to have it come out of our taxes & our PM's time.
3 - Nobody is ignoring previous PM's religious views. Australians are quite aware.

People know about Rudd, Turnbull & Abbott's beliefs.

People also know none of them abused their position as PM to preach on a stage on the Gold Coast and brag their wife had been chosed by God.
4 - No PM has ever gone to the religious extremes that Scott Morrison has.

No PM has ever used his position as a leader visiting a trauma zone to practice "laying on of hands".

None have claimed God has chosen them.

No PM has abused their office (we pay for) to this extent.
Journalists claiming any of the above are either conveniently disingenuous or thick as dirt.

And journalists plying the outrage machine over this to garner views & relevance are worse than the social media users they sit on their high horses accusing of the same behaviour.
