I saw that many FGO players were interested in tkrb so I have decided to create a thread of sword bois whose owners happen to be characters in the Fate franchise.

I got most of this info by going on the trivia pages on the fandom wiki so some of this may be incorrect and I might have forgotten some bois and connections too so if make any mistakes or leave people out, please let me know :)

This one I think most people know. Izuminokami Kanesada and Horikawa Kunihiro are Hijikata's swords. Izumin is an uchigatana of the Kanesada school and Horikawa is a wakizashi of the Horikawa school and shares his name with his smith.

Next we have Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki an uchigatana who was owned by Ryouma. And yes I'm doing Bakumatsu era first cause I know them more. Mutsu's gun is supposed to be the same one Ryouma has. I believe he got it as a gift from Katsu Kaishu but I may be mistaken.

Next is Yamatonokami Yasusada and Kashuu Kiyomitsu who are both Okita's uchigatana. Ichimonji Norimune, also known as Kiku Ichimonji is a tachi and in fact not really Okita's sword as Okita probably could have been unable to afford an Ichimonji sword. He is also quite old.

Next we have Hizen Tadahiro who is Izo's wakizashi. He's a good boi who deserves love. He is on good terms with Nankaitarou Chouson who belonged to Hanpeita which is interesting if you know about Hanpeita's relationship with Izo.

Intermission as I go and grab more pics. Nankaitarou Chouson and Nagasone Kotetsu are Hanpeita and Kondo's uchigatana respectively. While their owners are not in any fate works, they have been mentioned I believe. Nagasone is a fake Kotetsu sword.

Yes I only put these guys in cause I like Nankai and also I felt bad for Kondo not being in any fate work

Next we have Iwatooshi who belonged to Benkei. He is a naganata from the Sanjou school. He is the only naginata in game who belongs to an actual person because Shizuka and Tomoe, the other 2 naginata in game, are both composite charas representing 2 different types of naginata.

And here we have Hizamaru, a tachi and also Imanotsurugi, a tantou from the Sanjou school. Both of them are said to be owned by Ushikawamaru/Yoshitsune (also plz don't judge me for not using normal Ushi pic). Hizamaru is also known as Usumidori so yes, he did break in Babylonia.

Next here is Higekiri, Hizamaru's older brother who is also a tachi. He was owned by Ushiwakamaru/Yoshitsune's brother, Yoritomo and also apparently Tsuna as well??? Not really sure but that's what the wiki said.

I did forget that Kagetora is Uesugi but ignoring that, Azuki Nagamitsu, a tachi and Kenshin Kagemitsu, a tantou both from the Osafune school as well as Gokotai, a tantou from the Awataguchi school all supposedly belonged to Uesugi.

Nother break but uh, Sanchoumou, who is from the Fukuouka Ichimonji school, the same one as Norimune, was also a sword in the Uesugi clan. I just don't know who had him but the wiki didn't say he was Uesugi's sword like the other 3 so...

All I have left is a a bunch of swords owned by the 3 important dudes + Mori's siblings(?) Need to double check some things. Brb.

This is split into two parts. Sohayanotsurugi (utsusunari) from the Miike school and Shishiou were both owned by Ieyasu, a character that appears in Koha-Ace. Sohaya is a replica and also Oodenta's brother. Oodenta is one of the tenka goken.-

Shishiou is more associated with Minamoto no Yorimasa in game than with Ieyasu. Also important to note that the Fate Ieyasu is not actually Ieyasu but a body double. So I will cover Tonbokiri in here later.

Monoyoshi Sadamune, a wakizashi from the Sadamune school and Houchou Toushirou, tantou from the Awataguchi school were both owned by Ieyasu as well. Monyon was considered a lucky charm and Ieyasu apparently took it with him to battles for good luck.

Another break but uh... Tonbokiri from the Muramasa school (yes this is why Shiro is here) was used by Tadakatsu, one of Ieyasu's retainers and Otegine was used by Yuuki Hideyasu, Ieyasu's second son. Koha-Ace Ieyasu can temporarily used Tonbokiri due to their np.-

And now also seems like a good time to point out that Sengo Muramasa is also (obviously) from the Muramasa school. Muramasa blades were considered cursed and Tonbokiri was the only one that was tolerated around Ieyasu I guess?? So Muramasa doesn't like Ieyasu.

I forgot to add that Shishiou and Sohaya are tachi, Otegine and Tonbokiri are yari, and Muramasa is an uchigatana.

Hirano Toushirou from the Awataguchi school, Hyuuga Masamune from the Masamune school and Taikou Samonji from the Samonji school are all tantous owned by Hideyoshi aka monkey man. Taikou even has a tail because of the Hideyoshi monkey thing XD.

And also Nikkari, wakizashi from the Aoe school who was owned by Hideyoshi back when he was Nobunaga's retainer. Nikkari's a very spooky boi. And also Juzumaru, one of the tenka goken's brother. (Also this Nobu pic is here for like... no reason but oh well :p)

And finally our first actual Nobu boi! Yagen Toushirou, a tantou from the Awataguchi school was one of the many swords owned by Nobunaga. He's the only Nobu sword that the wiki didn't say anything about ending up with the other ppls in Fate shiz.

We also have Heshikiri Hasebe who was owned by Nobunaga and maybe owned by Hideyoshi before being given to Nagamasa. There are two theories floating around on how Nagamasa got Hasebe and one of them involves Hideyoshi but the other one doesn't or something.

Another speculation one is Shokudaikiri Mitsutada, a tachi from the Osafune school. He's most known for being owned by Date Masamune but it was given to him by Hideyoshi and Nobunaga apparently liked Shokudaikiri but it's not 100% confirmed if they both owned it or not.

And here we have Ichigo Hitofuri, a tachi from the Awataguchi school. He was owned by Hideyoshi and after his death(?), it was given to Ieyasu but he never used it nor was it ever brought to Edo. He's basically the big brother of the Awataguchi even tho he's not the oldest.

Gonna end it off here for now cause I have exams tomorrow but uh... I still need to finish the rest of the 3 important dudes' swords + double check a few things about Mori's sibling(s?)

I'm feeling less confident cause I'm not sleepy anymore but here we go. Kousetsu Samonji, a tachi from the Samonji school and Atsushi Toushirou, a tanto from the Awataguchi school, were both first owned by Hideyoshi and then, Ieyasu.

Nihongou, the last of the sanmeisou is a yari that was owned by Nobunaga and Hideyoshi. He likes alcohol cause Kuroda Fukushima won him from a drinking game. He's usually grouped up with the other Kuroda swords like Hasebe and Hakata or with the other Yari.

Daihannya was owned by Nobunaga and Ieyasu. He's a tachi from the Osafune school. Not sure what else to say... I guess uh... Yukishiro Asuma from a3! has a similar appearance and personality to Daihannya. Idek why but it's kind of funny XD

Honebami Toushirou and Namazuo Toushirou are both wakizashi from the Awataguchi school. They were both owned by Hideyoshi, then Toyotomi Hideyori, then ended up with the Tokugawa clan (which is why I have the pic of Ieyasu here). These guys have amnesia btw.

Souza Samonji is the "lucky" boi who was owned by all three of the 3 important unifier dudes. He's an uchigatana from the Samonji school. While Nobunaga had him, he was heavily altered the sword then Honnoji happened and so Hideyoshi got it then Ieyasu and then another fire...

Souza's got it rough... please care for the himst. Actually plz care for all 4 Samonji bois. Taikou is a sunshine boi but the other 3 are... not.

Bonus while I go look for Mori's siblings but uh... Akita Toushirou and Shinano Toushirou are both tantou from the Awataguchi school. Akita was owned by one of Hideyoshi's allies, Akita Sanesue while Shinano was owned by Hideyoshi before being given to-

one of Ieyasu's retainers, Nagai Naomasa, whose title, "Shinano no Kami" is supposedly where Shinano's name comes from. Now brb as I double check one more of Mori's siblings

Next we have Fudou Yukimitsu, a tantou originally owned by Nobunaga who gave it to Ranmaru who is Nagayoshi's younger brother. I'm cheating a bit here but oh well. Plz protect this boi too. He's got a drinking problem but overall Fudou is a nice guy.

We also have Aizen Kunitoshi, a tantou from the Rai school. He was owned by Hideyoshi and Ieyasu I think? And then Hideyasu apparently gave it to Tadamasa, who is Nagayoshi's other younger brother after Ranmaru's death at Honnoji.

Last one is Tsurumaru Kuninaga who was given to Nobunaga who then gave it to Yoshinari, Nagayoshi's father. Tsurumaru is often grouped up with Shokudaikiri, Taikogane, and Ookurikara because they were all owned by the Date clan (although Tsurumaru was later than the other guys)

I definitely missed ppl... oh well.

So uh... just remember that most of these older sword bois (not bakumatsu era folks) were owned by a ton of folks. And most of these bois are not usually associated with Nobu, monkey man and Ieyasu but instead with other owners-

at least in game. I hope this thread was someone informational...
