Read a bit about “Things Left Behind” by Kim Sae Byul which is a nonfictional essay where #MoveToHeaven was inspired from. Just curious what stories might appear on the drama since every cleaning service of Kim Sae Byul has done has its own story.
note: some of stories in this thread might appear in the drama so it can be somewhat a spoiler. read at your own risk.

tw: depression, suicide, murder, death, etc.
Kim Sae Byul is a real life cleanup specialist and he runs a trauma cleaner company. The company offers cleaning services after murders, suicides and unattended deaths in private homes.
Most of the time he cleans up the homes of those who lived alone and was discovered dead many weeks or years later.
Kim Sae Byul once cleaned a house of a 70 year old man who lived alone for 40 years. He lived alone ever since he went to jail for theft and later on separated from his wife and children. The old man stole goods for his children thus a lot of unused goods was found in his home.
As a cleanup specialist, most of the time Kim Sae Byul encounter homes of the deceased who suffered from hoarding disorder and social isolation.
“When suffering from unfulfilling relationships with close friends and family, some people start to form relationships with objects and animals. You give meanings to them, and every single object becomes simply unreplaceable.”
One of the most memorable and heartbreaking cases that Kim Sae Byul has encountered was a divorced father in his 50s who died from battling stage 4 liver cancer. He was discovered days later after his unattended death.
While cleaning his house, Sae Byul saw a lot of books about Korean herbs that are said to be effective in treating cancer. The deceased kept his illness from his family, ex-wife and two daughters but still felt obligated to fund their education.
The man seemed like he would work on weekdays and would visit mountains just to look for herbs that can cure his illness. However until his death, his children had no idea.
This thread is only a glimpse on what to expect in the drama but #MoveToHeaven will definitely tell a heavy but heartwarming story of the deceased who only longs and holds memories of their family before their death.
This will be a 16 episode tearjerking drama so pls watch #MoveToHeaven. It will finally be released on Netflix on May 14!
