How to make the All-Star Game just as easy and memorable as 2021 CO Prom. Thank you @CDPHE for helping everyone stay safe! And kids EXTRA safe!
1. Make sure to pick 10 of your closest friends to sign up as quickly as possible for a 2-hour window to attend the game. You will likely only get to watch a couple innings because it is safer and building resiliency.
2. You may want to screen your non-lazy vaccinated friends (thank you Gov. Polis for pointing out the real reason people are not getting vaccinated-laziness is clearly the only reason) to be in your group, so it is safer.
3. You and your 10 friends will get matching color-coded bracelets and a special circle, square, or box you must stay in. No other group will be within 6 feet of your group’s shape. Organizing 50000 people into groups of 10 will be a breeze!
4. We can hardly wait to see the massive array of colors used for the bracelets. And we wait eagerly to see what shape these groups of 10 will get to stay inside. Will the bracelets match the bathroom they must use? Parking lot? Let the fun begin!!
5. You must not remove your coat, shoes, or mask for even a moment. Never forget how lucky you are.
6. No eating or drinking will occur. It’s fun like Survivor Island and again think of the creative solutions that can be found when not meeting humans’ basic needs. RESILIENCY!
7. If you decide to kiss or hug someone at the game make sure they are vaccinated and if they are not, ask for jumbotron camera time to point at them so @GovofCO Polis can identify the lazy people.
8. Yelling, dancing, cheering, jumping, and walking quickly all must be avoided. We all know what can happen when aerosols spread ANYWHERE!
9. If anyone contracts covid during this event, the news will be widely spread and blamed on those who did not follow the rules.
10. Most likely it was a teenager or 3-year-old throwing caution to the wind, eating a hot dog unmasked, dancing with abandon, and singing loudly w/o regard for anyone else. We all know they are clearly the culprits of this pandemic.
I’m in full support of vaccinations and safety. Not different rules for kids/teens than adults. Nor shaming people into getting vaccinations or not rewarding the hard work of kids.
