I think people in this fandom need to realize ALL the kids don’t realize they are minimizing each other’s trauma. Tommy told Tubbo he has tougher skin so he’s better off, Tubbo n Ranboo kept making comments Tommy repeatedly asked them not to, Tubbo shrugged off him exiling Tommy—

Tommy keeps treating Ranboo unfairly, something he himself is aware of. They are all treating each other not the best at times, because their trauma makes them act out. Sometimes it makes them not completely compassionate to others. But that doesn’t mean they don’t care at all —

This isn’t a case of “Who is better for who” this is a case of “They’re all kids who are going through trauma, and because of that trauma they might minimize each other’s because right now they are concerned with THEMSELVES and what they are specifically going through” —

Tommy wants to protect Tubbo, cares about him and trusts him. Tubbo wants Tommy to be safe and happy, and is deeply sad to hear he sees himself as broke. Ranboo just wants them all to be happy and cares for them both, and Tommy thinks Ranboo is a great person. —

No matter what, they all care for each other. They may say things that are insensitive, and not realize, but that doesn’t mean they are terrible friends towards each other. They are imperfect kids dealing with their own issues. Sometimes it’s hard to see others are suffering, too
