Twitter, I need your help! Please take a moment to hear me out! A cashier at my local @tacobell got into a bad car accident yesterday: totaled car, dislocated shoulder, and now has to buy a new car with the money she was saving for vacation. (1/7)
The person who rear-ended her says it’s her fault because she “works at Taco Bell so must be under the influence of something.” That’s beside the point however; I don’t want to focus on the entitled 2nd-party. What I really want to get to is this: (2/7)
This amazing person is extremely good at her job, trying to work hard enough to be recognized for promotion from what I heard, and is generally an incredibly kind and pleasant person. (3/7)
But now she’s in a tough spot and has to buy a new car. That alone is going to cost a pretty penny, let alone be able to take the vacation she’s been planning and so well deserves. (4/7)
She’s still trying to make it work though. Despite the lack of transportation now, and the pain of a dislocated arm that’s been cracked back into place, she still refused to miss her shift. Not like she can really afford to now. (5/7)
If you can, please please please retweet this; and maybe @tacobell will see it and she can get the recognition she needs. It takes 2 seconds. There’s no ulterior motive, there’s no strings - someone ran into some bad luck, I want to help them out. Please retweet! (6/7)
@tacobell, you’ve got amazing people working in your company. They deserve recognition. And as a regular customer, I’d say people like her deserve recognition, respect, and in a situation like hers, help. What do you say? (7/7)
