#Peel has been hit hard by this pandemic. That is why we are allocating more vaccines to hot spot areas.

In May, we will be allocating 432,960 doses to Peel!

This means per capita, Peel will get 82K/100K vs provincial average of 68K/100K.

Building on this, we have now administered over 500,000 doses in Peel.

In the past few weeks, our daily rate of doses delivered has consistently been one of the highest provincewide on a per-capita basis!

We have begun to expand our fixed clinics and pop-up clinics.

Expansion of Fixed Clinics in Peel

On top of our current capacity of 13,000 doses a day, we are adding 4,400 additional daily appointments through May.

That means, we can vaccinate 121,800 residents each week at our fixed clinics across Peel!

In Peel, we are launching workplace pop-up clinics at Maple Lodge Farms, Maple Leafs Foods and Amazon Canada.

Around 7,000 essential workers will be vaccinated in their first 3 weeks of operation at the 3 on-site offerings.

We are also launching 18+ Community and Mobile Pop-Up clinics across Peel.

Starting April 30 to May 11, residents 18+ within hot spot postal codes will be able to get the vaccine at these Peel Vaxx Pop Ups:

💉 Brampton Islamic Centre
💉 MAC Islamic Community Centre

We will continue to update residents as more community and mobile pop-up clinics are announced.

Premier @fordnation and our gov’t will continue to work with Dr.Loh and Peel Public Health to ensure that our hard hit communities are given the support they need. #onpoli
