The NRA brought it to Rep. Bobby Cox, Sig Sauer's VP Gov't Affairs. If you don't believe me, roll the tape where this was mentioned in the SC House Jud. Subcom mtg. The same PAID lobbyist keeps coming all the way down from RVA to testify on behalf of 3094.

I, on the other hand, am an unpaid VOLUNTEER w/ @MomsDemand who lives in SC & is directly affected by this legislation. My testimony should be worth more than that of 1) Someone who doesn't live here 2) Someone who'll make $$ from 3094, even if he did author the bill.

Deserving of even heavier weight is the opinion of law enforcement, which resoundingly OPPOSES Open Carry. Open Carry puts an undue burden on our already overly stressed LEOs. SLED says no. Sheriffs all over SC say no. That should be all you need to hear.
