Second, PoS COULD mean less wasted energy IF it's widely adopted. Less waste isn't "green"

people like PoS bc it will break up mining pools and bc it could become more secure due to the ability to punish malicious forgers. It's theoretically less wasteful, but the idea that it's a solution to the environmental impact of crypto is spin

And you know its spin bc any criticism is met with the "proof of stake" argument from weird little crypto missionary reply guys, who I would bet my monero on, only invest in PoW crypto anyway
