i think now that all of the minimum-wage customer facing workers have been through a pandemic, it& #39;s about time we enter the customer is always wrong arc. if you haven& #39;t learned how to politely request/complain, i think it should now be universally acceptable to kick you out.
like a one strike you& #39;re out rule. if you raise your voice at an employee you should be escorted out of the building. it& #39;s pretty wild to think about how much abuse service workers put up with, so much so that lifelong friendships can be built from shared customer trauma lol
its funny to joke about but like do u guys know how many of you are spoken about for years after the event because you caused another human being genuine emotional distress over a gin and tonic that "wasn& #39;t ginny enough" lol like is that deserving of actual verbal harassment?
one time maybe 5 years ago now a guy called me a cunt and threatened to smash the glass he was holding over my head because he couldnt remember his table number and i asked him to go get it. like he probably has no memory of this event but ill never forget it lol
