If the photo is watermarked in a way that is unattractive, you could personally reach out to the photographer about adjusting it even...provided you're not being an asshole.

In fact, I've told many a photographer I've worked with to ADD watermarks so that their work is credited.
Creating mutually beneficial, positive relationships are key. Building things that bring value to yourself, others involved and those that use the product is a proper goal.

The photographers are a part of that and I'm very fortunate for my friends that shoot for me.
