for fellow afab people seeing this: you aren’t exempt from being a terf even if you are trans, or a poc, or a leftist. terf ideology specifically targets trans women and cloaks itself in leftist rhetoric to suck people in. learn to recognise the red flags.

terfs will never voice their transmisogyny and bioessentialism aloud. they’ll use rational sounding intellectual talking points before devolving into veiled bigotry.

and if you don’t critically think about your own role in perpetuating transmisogyny, you will be easily coerced into becoming a terf yourself the second you engage with any slightly intelligent radfem who knows how to use and manipulate common feminist and leftist rhetoric.

in case anyone’s still reading this: radfems will say that things like critiquing makeup culture or critiquing capitalist appropriation of feminism are all radfem ideas. they aren’t. they’re literally just feminist theory, they weren’t created by radfems.

another thing: don’t interact with terfs ever. not even to fight. not even to “make them understand.” they won’t understand. don’t extend their reach by interacting with them. just block and move on.
