The 2021 state of business automation.

A @zapier report just came out. And I am overly excited about the implications for SMBs to grow faster and leaner than ever before 🧠

Here are my 5 favorite stats.

👇Thread👇
1. Most commonly automated tasks: data entry (38%) with a close 2nd: document creation and organization (32%) and 3rd: lead management (30%)
2. 88% of SMB employees say that automation alllows their company to compete with larger enterprises. More specifically because it allows them to move faster, close leads quickly, spend less time on busywork, reduce errors, and offer better customer service.
3. 44% of SMB employees say that they're not highly efficient or productive in their day-to-day work, and 94% say they perform repetitive, time-consuming tasks in their role.
4. 2 out of 3 knowledge workers are satisfied with their role because they use automation at work. How does this scale? 52% would rather sit in traffic for two extra hours every day than give up the automation tools that make their life easier.
5. 66% say that using automation at work allows them to focus on more creative tasks and projects. (most important in my opinion)
