rewatching was this. This is that part where Masashi comes to watch the intra-squad game at Seido and after watching it comments on their glaring lack of offensive power. He says that the team is missing a batsmen, a hitter who can surpass Yuki Tetsuya, his older brother.

Anyone who watches or reads this scene would think it is about him, it is /his/ storypath that TJ is carving but the chapter 248 says otherwise. The same idea of surpassing Tetsu is approached in relation to the present captain, cleanup, catcher; the triple threat of Seido;

Miyuki Kazuya. At this crucial moment in the game, the band played Lupin the third for Miyuki's at-bat. An echo of "we believe in you captain" along with a fervent "surpass your great senpai" can be heard from the lilting tunes of this theme. To think that this pivotal moment

is a continuation of (an answer to) that one open ended comment made by Masashi in Act 1 is a mind numbing realization. TJ elegantly tied up the threads and provided us with a moment that served to further Miyuki's development. A satisfying end to a little yet important

arc. Terajima sensei's storytelling is something to be cherished. I am so in awe everytime I come across things like this.
