🙋‍♀️ Is the future of the workplace... flexible? hybrid? remote? or DYNAMIC? Here's what I learned from my conversation with Samantha Fisher, Head of Dynamic Work at @okta

TREAD 👉
2/ 🤝 What truly matters is your PEOPLE (and their needs, regardless where they live or work): "The primary focus of Dynamic Work is to provide a personalized and equitable employee experience."
3/ "Dynamic Work means breaking out of the binary framework by which many organizations approach remote work."
Binary typically means WFH vs. HQ: it doesn't matter whether you work from your home, a Codi, a WeWork, or an office, what matters is that it works for you.
4/ "I have experienced first-hand how remote workers are often made to feel like second-class citizens." 🙅‍♀️
5/ "The ability to recruit and retain a diverse staff is among the most valuable [Dynamic Work's benefit]. Dynamic work removes these physical constraints and leaves the door wide open for candidates of all backgrounds." 🌟
6/ "Before the pandemic, 60 percent of Okta’s new hires were located near an Okta office. Now, 60 percent of hires are not located near an Okta office. Okta plans to have smaller offices in more locations to serve as “experiential places” for employees." 🏢
7/ "We talk a lot about having the right tech tools for collaborative distributed work, but the distributed work environment often gets overlooked. All workers need good lighting, desks, and video conferencing equipment." đź–Ą
8/ "Neighborhood workspaces or local company hubs can be a great option for employees that live far from their employers’ offices. Instead of driving for several hours, they’ll have a place to go much closer to home." 🏡

(my favorite quote of course! 🤓 )
9/ "A flexible workplace that is able to provide its employees with agency in regards to where and when they work post-pandemic will attract the top talent."
