Poll thread.
If you're in the UK or Ireland & housebound/vulnerable to covid, (regardless of whether the gov decided you were!) & thus unable to safely go to a supermarket all yr, may I ask:

Do you feel let down by the supermarkets you previously used for groceries?
#NEISvoid 🧵
If you at any point informed your normal supermarket that you were housebound, and/or vulnerable so shielding, but not on the government's list, and so could not access / safely access food, unless that store gave you priority status, how did they respond?

#NEISvoid 🧵
How did you as a disabled person in the UK & Ireland manage to access food during the pandemic? What stores did you use? Did people help out with your shopping?

Are there stores you feel stepped up?

(I won't poll this one because the answers are too wide ranging.)

#NEISvoid
Did you as a disabled person in the UK or Ireland, have to spend a lot more to access food this year because normal routes weren't available to you? (or need to compensate by buying less food, or lesser quality food than you normally need for your health issues?)

#NEISvoid
Did you go hungry or struggle to eat healthily at any point this year in the UK & Ireland, due to supermarkets not properly prioritising their disabled customers who were unable to visit a store or for whom it would have been too unsafe to do so? Feel free to specify!

#NEISvoid
Did you as a disabled person have no choice but to put yourself or members of your family in unsafe situations in order to eat, this year, in the UK or Ireland? Feel free to specify further than yes or no.

#NEISvoid
Do you as a disabled person in the UK/Ireland feel you can trust your original supermarket?

Do you wish to remain with the supermarket you were using pre pandemic &/or continue to keep a delivery sub?

Can you explain why?

(This is a bit too wide ranging for a poll.)
#NEISvoid
Having had major issues with these things myself, I want to see how wide ranging they were here before I write (another!) thread on the subject!

This may be a somber thread. 💔 I hope it's not and it's full of more hope than I'm expecting.
Just wanted to mention that I specified the UK & Ireland for this because its such a country specific issue - not in that all countries didn't have these issues, but in that each country had such different infrastructure before the pandemic, in terms of grocery accessibility! 🧡
Please do retweet for votes! I'd really appreciate it! 😘
