I'm not a lawyer, but the implications are as follows:
If Haché, Exec Team & BoG lose their jobs BEFORE formal exit from the CCAA process, they'd automatically be considered "unsecured creditors"--in terms of severance they'd have to get in line at the creditor's pool--like me.

Notice that--as laid out in their personal common law contracts of employment--if they're terminated AFTER emergence from CCAA (which this condition ensures) they will get their FULL ENTITLEMENTS.

Faculty get $0 -- Haché, Executive Team, BoG get $$$$.

Translation: those who chose the CCAA path for @LaurentianU will get nice termination packages, post CCAA proceedings.

All of this while they pursue #terminated faculty to return their property, or cough up a couple hundred bucks for our used laptops if we want to keep them.

You see, in addition to losing our @LaurentianU email accounts, our library access, our computers -- purchased for us via our collective agreement and topped up with Professional Allowance $$ have to be returned.

Frankly, it's hard enough to be an academic, but now we have to do it without institutional email, access to journals and without a computer. The Administration of @LaurentianU seems intent on making certain that we'll never practice our trade -- ever.
