Not a Early declare, here’s why.... he tore an ACL. His 2019 campaign ended abruptly. He was on a 82/1405/12 pace. Hypothetically of course:
♦️2017 7/118/0
♦️2018 86/1491/12
♦️2019 82/1405/12

Because of the ACL, he was forced to come back and prove it. The draft had to wait.
He might not be out of the woods. Tylan is a kinesiology major so he will understand recovery better than the average player. His twin brother has already torn a second ACL. The risk for further injury will always be present
Let’s not forget that Tylan is still a phenomenal talent
♦️4th Highest Graded Receiver since 2017 (PFF)
♦️2020 zero drops when Wallace gained a step of separation
♦️1st in 20+ career receptions among draft eligible receivers (40)
He has great after the catch ability. He has speed, he runs a 4.48, not exactly home run speed but you will find his physical play can make up for it. https://twitter.com/pfn365/status/1369788406562193410
Here’s a thread highlighting his contested catch ability, ball tracking, and hands. https://twitter.com/taentoddpodcast/status/1374900589189079040
Tylan Wallace has bounced back from one ACL, with the possibility of a second one, can he do it again? It’s hard to knock his game, especially considering his QB play. He could improve on his separation, doesn’t have home run speed.
The reasons holding fantasy managers from drafting this is guy is the non-early declare, and that injury risk. This is a fundamentally sound player.
