I have always been against vaccine passports. Not because I don't see their function or efficacy, but because of the fear that once the West opens its travel corridors and "returns to normal", COVID-19 will become a poor people's disease.
There is nothing in the current response that gives any confidence that the pandemic will command the same urgency once all adults in the West are fully vaccinated. I also suspected that certain vaccines will not be accepted in these travel "corridors". On cue...
