Bit of a thread.

I urge everyone to support their favourite players and do so vocally, regardless of what haters might say, and regardless of your player’s “standing” on their team.

For a lot of fans, emotional attachment to hockey helps with depression, anxiety, ....

feeling alone, and gives a sense of feeling like you’re part of something. A team. For many, it’s an escape from daily life.

So no. It’s not “thirsting” for girls to like male players and it’s not “gay” for guys to do so either. Support who you want, however you want. ....

And never let anybody tell you how to be a fan.

I’m blessed to be here on Canes twitter and I’m so grateful for everyone I interact with - even the haters. But stop policing. Let ppl enjoy what they want.
