so wangxian were together for 4 years! they got together in college. both of their have some serious issues because of their childhoods.

(okay but before i just wanna note!! the whole debate with if the lans being too strict and the jiang parents being horrible yeah pls leave me out of that! those situations are really complex and i have good and bad feelings about each! today i just wanna go full angst tyvm)

lwj grew up on strict rules and expectations. if he doesn’t meet those, he immediately spirals and has a tendency to project his sadness and anger on ppl. and with the whole situation with his parents, he is always afraid of losing people he loves. if he sees wwx talking to—
