Virtue, according to Machiavelli, is a prince’s ability to effect change, influence, and accomplish tasks. It isn’t about coral for ethical standards, but capabilities.
Fortune, however, is that which lies beyond our control. It is fickle, and is something we cannot fully take into account, but must conform to.
A surfer cannot change the waves, but he can choose the one he wants to ride into shore.

Your outcome in life depends on both fortune and virtue.
But you can only control the virtue you build into your life.
That’s why do you need to strengthen your mind body and soul, so you can prepare yourself to react to whatever fortune gives you
