Steep decline in vaccination in NYC. And still half of adults here have not received their first shot.

The era of mass vax sites is over. We need to take vaccination to NYers where they are—in their neighborhoods, in their homes, in workplaces, in doctors offices. Everywhere.
To take vaccination direct to people, NYC needs to:
* Create a fleet of mobile vax vans (only 1 is operating now)
* Expand the pace of in-home vaccination for the homebound
* Allow walk-in vaccination at pharmacies
[cont...]
* Let every private doctor's office/clinic vaccinate (people trust their doctors)
* More pop-up sites in NYCHA dev'ts, houses of worship etc
* Door-to-door canvassing to build confidence in vax & help people get access
* Elevate trusted local leaders to speak on value of the vax.
